Azzaro Wanted EDP: Cold Chrome and Warm Woods
Azzaro has released a new scent for its popular Wanted line. The new Eau de Parfum flanker arrives in what appears to be a more mature presentation, while drawing inspiring from the sensational contrast of cold and warm.
The most recent addition out of Italy begins with the cold embrace of juniper berries that leads into a heard of salvia, which is a warmer version of sage, and the largest variety of the herb ( I think). A inviting base of cozy vetiver concludes the enticing perfume.
Honestly, I am a bit lost on the Wanted flankers. They seem to have little in common with each other. It lacks a signature smell that makes you say, “Oh, that is part of the Wanted line”. While the collection has had success, and people enjoy them, I just feel like they throw some warm notes together with sweet notes or make a fresh and sweet scent and call it a day, while housing it in the brand’s edgy revolver-styled bottle.
Wanted EDP comes in a chromed-out version of the revolver cylinder bottles of the part, not much unlike Freeride, but with what appears to be a brighter shone to it. The scent will be releasing soon and will likely come in a 50ml and 100ml sizes, as the rest of the line has. Prices have not been revealed, as of the writing of this article.
Are you excited for this one? Do you think the Wanted line is played out and has lost some of its edge and appeal What would you like to see from the line?
