Gucci Bloom Intense: The New Sensual Fragrance
Gucci surely loves their Bloom line. We have another one, which promises to be the most intense yet and goes by the name of Bloom Intense. Hmm, that makes sense, doesn’t it? Created by none other than the legendary Alberto Morillas, who is a known genius when using florals, and that is what the scent is based upon.
The Italian fashion house’s newest sister to the Bloom line opens up with energetic orange blossom that is sure to make you smile from the start. The heart transitions into a floral dream of narcotic jasmine sambac that melds into gorgeous tuberose.
There are two unique notes here that are quite interesting. The first is Rangoon creeper, which holds a sweet honeyed smell similar to honeysuckle. The second is lady of the night flower, which is a flower that is known to emit a boisterous fragrance at night to attract pollinators, hence the name. The smell is quite potent and sweet and holds a similar profile to that of jasmine, but they are not the same flower. The base reveals a heart blend of patchouli and crystal moss.
Bloom Intense look like it will live up to its namesake. With a heady white floral bouquet with a base of patchouli, the scent appears to be built to be strong. So, fans of perfumes that are loud, this might be one to check out. Oftentimes people complain that “intense” flankers are weak, and hopefully Gucci is shattering that stigma with this release.
I love florals on women, and I am excited to test this one out. Jasmine is so intoxicating to me, and with it being bolstered by other traditionally feminine florals, this is a fragrance that I have been waiting for. I can just imagine a woman in a black dress on a cool spring night wearing something like this and stealing the heart of every man within her sight. Gucci has always dared to be a bit different, and with Master Morillas at the helm, I can’t see this one being a flop.
Gucci Bloom Intense foregoes the pink bottles of previous edition and dons itself in a jet-black bottle, but the signature pink stays on the label to present the fragrance name. It will be available in a generous 100ml size for $165. I know the price looks expensive, but I trust Gucci to give us our money’s worth.
Are you excited as I am for this release? Has anyone tried it yet? Are there any Gucci Bloom flankers that you have dreamed of?
