Alive Parfum: The New Flanker from Hugo Boss

Hugo Boss has been churning out quite a few releases since I started writing for the site. Every new release has the potential to be the next hit, so I am not complaining, but they do seem to churn out a scent every other month. At least they haven’t forgotten their perfume lines.

Created under the noses of Honorine Blanc and Marie Salamange, Alive Parfum seeks to make women feel like they are a boss. A woman in charge of her own destiny is a beautiful thing and that is what Hugo Boss has sought to bring to life in scented form.

Alive Parfum is simple in design, combing the jasmine sambac from the rest of the line with leather and vetiver. It sounds simple enough, but I would think there will be a few more unlisted accords. They offer a much deeper, and more sensual breakdown than the previous iterations by including woody vetiver and sexy leather. This one looks like it could be more of a unisex offering than strictly for the fairer sex, given that jasmine sambac is more masculine leaning than grandiflorum to me, and the inclusion of woods and leather. As I previously said though, I imagine there will be more to it than that, so it could go either.

Boss Alive Parfum is housed in a gorgeous ruby and gold bottle, that appears to embody the royalty of every woman who wants to be a boss. It is set to be made available soon in 30, 50, and 80 ml sizes.
