Musicology

MUSICOLOGY honours the senses, memories, and vibrations that music evokes in people. Hearing and smell are two of our five senses that are flourishing in music and perfume. Their semantics are even similar. We look for notes, harmonies, and melodies in fragrance, just as we do in music.

MUSICOLOGY transforms it into an olfactory form in order to magnify, communicate, and amplify emotions. The sounds and molecules of perfume travel through space; they appear and disappear with equal brilliance in a single fleeting moment, highlighting the powerful connection between music and perfume.
Nathalie Lorson, the Master Perfumer who created this scented melody, describes her opera in simple terms: “I used notes and chords to create perfumes that will bring emotion in people.”
