Comme Des Garcons Zero is the Japanese brand’s newest release. It treads on a fine line between masculinity and femininity by means of luxury, lightness and its over playful nature. The six simple ingredients in the fragrance combine for a “totally unique and unforgettable experience.”
CDG Zero is packaged in the bottle design that we’ve seen the house use over the past few years. The clear, oval bottle is reminiscent of a smooth pebble that has been plucked out of the ocean. Its atomizer is off-centred and topped off with a white lid.
Zero features just six ingredients, as perfumer Fanny Bal honed in each note. Bergamot opens Zero at the top, followed by a Rose Accord in the heart. Then the fragrance simultaneously transitions and concludes with Vetiver, Cedarwood and Musk.
“The rich scent of natural cedar is refreshed with notes of bergamot. The raw seduction of musk and Haitian vetiver creates an enchanting and irresistible fragrance sensation. The woody scent of the perfume is topped off with a hint of rose oxide. That also makes the perfume slightly floral and loved by both men and women.”
Comme Des Garcons Zero is available in a 100ml bottle and is concentrated as an Eau de Parfum. It is currently in stock at select boutiques across Europe and retails for $133 USD.
