Davidoff Cool Water: The House Announces a Pair of Limited Edition Aquatic Scents

After a few months of twiddling our thumbs, Davidoff has confirmed the notes for two limited editions of Cool Water for both men and women. The pair participates in a new trend for perfume houses: Releasing limited edition, concentrated fragrances with a mere pair of notes. Along with following the trend, both scents use 90% vegan, vegetal raw ingredients. 

Davidoff Cool Water Grapefruit & Sage for Men

Cool Water Grapefruit & Sage for Men has been packaged in its classic, rectangular bottle with slight curvature along the edges. The Davidoff Cool Water liquid is an extremely refined and clear ocean blue that shines through a glass bottle. At the top is a cap that is rounded, reminiscent of their Late Night series of luxury cigars.

Davidoff’s release for men combines refreshing Grapefruit with herbaceous Sage. The pair merge to create an invigorating, oriental fragrance. “The spiciness of grapefruit gives strength to the limited edition from Davidoff and stands in a unique contrast to the intensive, aromatic clary sage,” says the brand. 

Davidoff Cool Water Jasmine & Tangerine for Women

For women, Davidoff is offering their limited edition flanker in its original shapely bottle. Similar to the prior release, Cool Water Jasmine & Tangerine for Women looks as if you’re picking an expensive bottle of water off of your dresser. Busty at the base and quaint at the top, the bottle is topped off with a chrome cap that reverses the bottle’s shape.

Evidently, the fragrance consists of simply Jasmine and Tangerine. Although we can assume the existence of supporting materials and chemicals. The house describes the scent as the fusion of off the untamed sea, alongside nature’s finest facets. “The floral aura of jasmine is skilfully complemented by the sparkling, sun-kissed signature of tangerine.”

Currently available at select European retailers, Davidoff Cool Water Grapefruit & Sage for Men has been equipped with an atomizer on top of its 125ml bottle. On the other hand, Cool Water Jasmine & Tangerine for Women features an atomizer above its 100ml case. Both fragrances retail for $55 USD excluding tax.
