Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Rose Cherry: The Essence of Rose and Cherry Water

Bulgarian Rose, Turkish Rose, Cherry Water, Vanilla, Musk, Cherry Blossom, and White Tea

Rose Cherry consists of the natural essence of Bulgarian rose, which is blended with the refreshingly cool honeyed kiss of Turkish rose. The floral etherealness of white tea is met with the delicate scent of cherry blossom. Upcycled cherry water is used to bolster the rose and give it that trademark sweetness in the La Petite Robe Noire line. Clean white musk is used with soft vanilla to round off this spring-inspired scent, which will likely be on the fresher side.

I see a lot of sweet notes in the composition, which always makes me wonder if it will be gourmand, but the marketing states that it an “ode to spring”, so hopefully this will be on the airy side. It’s also a Guerlain, even their sweet scents have that touch of class that the famous house is known for. Even with my love affair with this house, there are things that they have produced that have been just ordinary, but I have yet to smell a bad fragrance from them. Every Guerlain flanker has the potential to be a bestseller and a hit.

The bottle arrives in the typical La Petite Robe Noire bottle which is housed in a pinkish hue that resembles a cherry blossom tree. The little black dress that has become the iconic symbol of this line is also featured, with the signature inverted heart cap featuring a pink band bearing the Parisian house’s name.  It is available in a 30ml for €79 and a 50ml size for€106 on the Guerlain site.
