Jean Paul Gaultier will be releasing Le Male, Classique and Scandal as a part of their 2021 Christmas Collection. Similar to recent years, the release will consist of the original fragrance formulation with a playful touch on the bottle design.
Le Male and Classique will cover their provocative bottles with red and white Christmas sweaters. Embedded into the knitting are “Jean Paul” and “Gaultier” which fall horizontally amidst jagged lines.
Scandal’s bottle design took a less physique-driven approach by simply featuring women’s legs on the cap. The Christmas edition will don the same sweater as the other two releases.
Le Male is a Fougere with top notes of Lavender, Mint, Cardamom, Bergamot and Artemesia. The heart is Cinnamon, Orange Blossom and Caraway. To conclude, the base consists of Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Amber, Sandalwood and Cedar.
Classique features a floral-driven note breakdown, starting with Orange Blossom, Star Anise, Rose, Mandarin Orange, Pear and Bergamot on the top. Ginger, Iris Ylang-Ylang, Plum and Orchid reside in the heart and Cinnamon, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Amber and Musk round out the base.
Scandal, Gaultier’s newer release, begins with Blood and Mandarin Orange on the top. Amidst the heart is Honey, Gardenia, Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Peach. Finally, Beeswax, Patchouli, Caramel and Licorice wrap up the base.
Jean Paul Gaultier Christmas Collectors are set to release around the holiday season and will only be available in one size. Le Male may be purchased in a 125ml size, Classique in 100ml and Scandal in 80ml.
