Jean Paul Gaultier has recently released a flanker to their 2017 women’s fragrance, Scandal. Creative minds Daphné Bugey, Fabrice Pellegrin and Hamid Merati Kashani have constructed Scandal Gold. Gold is a limited edition, oriental and chypre scent that is being released on Sephora’s Saudi Arabian website.
After years of calling for a new line of fragrances, Jean Paul Gaultier has answered our cries. Succeeding the original Scandal, this oriental scent is bound to be a go-to on a seductive night out. Whilst the original Scandal was a fresh, citrus scent with a mix of gourmand honey, Scandal Gold differs in every way imaginable.
It is a dark, deep and mysteriously sexy scent with pronounced notes of Saffron, Jasmine and Sandalwood. On the top, Honey and Pinker Pepper join Saffron to create a sweet, indulgent note. In the middle, Jasmine is joined by Rose to insinuate a delectable accord. Finally, Benzoin, Ylang-ylang and patchouli complete the base.
The Scandal flanker has been released in a bottle that is shaped exactly like the original. The major addition of a gold exterior in contrast to the original pink makes for an exotic change. Capping off this exquisitely designed bottle, are women’s legs which are seemingly a staple in the new Scandal line for women.
Scandal Gold has been released in only an 80ml size and will retail for 645 SAR or approximately 172 USD. The flanker is currently available on Sephora’s website and will be available for free home delivery starting July 28th.
