Lancome is set to release La Nuit Tresor Intense, the ninth edition of the line. The original fragrance was released in 2015, subsequently flanked by an Edition Limitee in 2016 and a L’Eau de Toilette in 2017.
The La Nuit Tresor line is well known in the fragrance community for consisting of feminine fragrances that exude high levels of sweetness, ranging from fruits and Vanilla to Patchouli and citrus. Since the original fragrances conception, the line has been flanked by these variations: A La Folie, Nude, Musc Damant, Caresse, Dentelle de Roses and Edition Limitee.
Lancome La Nuit Tresor Intense seems to stay closer to the original, L’eau de toilette and Edition Limitee in terms of its note breakdown. What we know as of now is that the fragrance has a linear note breakdown of Cherry, Almond Milk, Rose, Woody Notes and Jasmine.
Across the entire line, fragrance note breakdowns range from four notes to over twenty. The Nude flanker utilizes the least, consisting of merely Bergamot, Rose, Vanilla and Coconut.
The new flanker only utilizes a single note from the original La Nuit Tresor. Even then, the original had a Black Rose accord whilst Intense simply uses Rose. The story continues across the Editon Limitee and L’Eau de Toilette as they all share the singular note of Rose.
To branch out further, Lancome La Nuit Tresor Intense shares an Almond-like accord with Caresse as it has an Almond Blossom note in the heart. Based strictly on paper, the intense variant seems to be the most similar to A La Folie as they both contain Woody Notes, Rose and Jasmine.
Lancome La Nuit Tresor Intense will be available in a 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottle, designed in a similar fashion to the rest of the line.
