Issey Miyake has released L’eau D’Issey by Kevin Lucbert Pour Homme and Pour Femme. Not only are these brand new fragrances, but their packages are designed by Kevin Lucbert, a jack of all trades within the art world.
L’eau D’Issey by Kevin Lucbert Pour Femme is shaped in a similar manner to the original release. This time, the bottle features alterations to its material and colour scheme. Lucbert is renowned for his geometric work which he uses to create images.
On the front of the white bottle is a combination of solid and dotted lines which progress up the bottle. The packaging follows a white and sun orange colour scheme throughout, eventually leading up into a clear cap that sits atop an orange atomizer.
Inside the bottle is a citrus and floral fragrance which kicks off with Neroli, Bergamot and Aquatic notes. Down below in the heart are Frangipani Blossom, Rose Essence and an Orange Blossom. Finally, the fragrance concludes with Drift Wood, Milk and Musk.
A few weeks ago, Issey Miyake announced the release of L’eau D’Issey Eau for both men and women. The fragrance Pour Femme utilized Neroli and Bergamot as well in the top, alongside Aquozone. For more information on the release, hit the link here!

At the top were Lotus, Melon, Freesia, Rose, Calone and Cyclamen. In the heart were Lily, Water Peony and Carnation. Musk, Tuberose, Exotic Woods, Osmanthus, Cedar, Amber and Sandalwood concluded the base. Quite the variation!
L’eau D’Issey by Kevin Lucbert Pour Homme shares similar sentiments to the feminine flanker in terms of its bottle design. Both fragrances were perfumed by three different noses, each of which transported you to a certain region of the world. To hear those stories, click here Pour Homme and here Pour Femme.
The bottle design was done by Lucbert again, this time following a blue and white colour scheme. In terms of its shape, it features the same curvature as the original release. These bottle designs are classic and clearly not to be tampered with!
Hidden beneath the atomizer is an aromatic and woody fragrance that begins with Citrus Fruits, Bergamot and Aquatic notes. As we progress lower we find Basil and Jasmine flowers, finally wrapping up with Cypress, Scots Pine and Balsam Fir.
The Eau release for men from a few weeks ago begins with Grapefruit, Cardamom and Cypress at the top. In the heart are Cedarwood and Calone, combined with Vetiver and Patchouli.
Back in the mid-90s, Miyake released the original L’eau D’Issey Pour Homme which utilized very progressive notes. It accompanied an array of other citrus’ amongst Cypress, Calone, Coriander, Tarragon and Sage.
It then fell on the side of floral with Blue Lotus, Lily-of-the-Valley, Saffron, Bourbon Geranium, Mignonette, Cinnamon and Nutmeg. Finally, it concluded with Vetiver, Musk, Cedar, Sandalwood, Tobacco and Amber.
