Memo Paris Ithaque: An Odyssey that Never Ends

House Memo Paris has just released their latest addition to their extensive backlog of perfumes, Ithaque, a brand new and exciting fragrance for men and women. Obviously, the main inspiration behind this release is the mythical ancient Greece.

As its name suggests, the fragrance is named after Ithaca, an island in the Ionian Sea, a place rich in history, culture and mythology. It was also the setting of one of Greece’s wondrous and epic tale of love and conquest, the Odyssey. Ithaque creates this strong sense of place thanks to its Eau de Parfum concentration.

Just as the Odyssey was filled with sentiments of loyalty, love, war and dedication, Ithaque is also home to a plethora of interesting and impactful notes, like strong cedar, lively bergamot and sweet blackcurrant. All of these notes come together in perfect harmony to deliver an aroma that takes you on a trip to the Greek lands. Other notes shown on the listing are orange bitter oil, Pepper Timut absolute, black pepper oil, Jasmine absolute, Redcurrant accord and patchouli oil. 

The bottle design itself is really eye-catching. A large print can be seen on the bottle that shows people in Ancient Greece living their daily life, surrounded by vegetation and nature blooming all around them, making this exceptional design a true collectible item.
