Omanluxury Voyage, Flowerlush, and Zafar: Three New Middle Eastern Gems
Omanluxury was founded on the principles of keeping Oman’s rich heritage of participation in the ancient incense and spice trade alive. The Middle Eastern house has released Voyage, Flowerlush, and Zafar. The trio will be the opulent niche house’s first releases of 2022.
Omanluxury Voyage:
Perfumer: Muatasim Al Hinai
Notes:
Top: Bergamot, Pink Pepper, and Ginger
Heart: Rose, Geranium, and Floral Notes
Base: Patchouli, Incense, Labdanum. Ambergris, and Musk
Voyage is inspired by the Oman’s lesser-known role in the nautical trades. Omani ships carried exquisite incense and spices to far off lands in the Middle East, Egypt, and Europe in exchange for gold.
Voyage presents itself with a smoked rose olfactory sensation that is bolstered by warm ginger and fiery pink pepper. Rose and geranium seamlessly meld into a floral heart that is crisp and refined. The base explores the richness of the blend with the darker notes of patchouli, incense smoke, and ambery labdanum.
Omanluxury Flowerlush:
Perfumers: Maurice Roucel, Pierre Gueros, and Philippine Courtiere
Notes:
Top: Citrus, Bergamot, and Mandarin
Middle: Jasmine, Rose, and Cyclamen
Base: Woody Notes, Musk, Oud, Patchouli, and Sandalwood
A radiant scent that showcases the crown of the Middle East, the rose. The freshness of citruses is met with the tranquility of jasmine and rose that rests on a base of patchouli, warm oud, and sandalwood.
Omanluxury Zafar:
Perfumer: Pierre Gueros
Notes:
Top: Bergamot, Apple, Pink Pepper, Rose, and Grapefruit
Middle: Lily-of-the-Valley, Jasmine, Olibanum, Orris, Orange Flower, and Cinnamon
Base: Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Oud, Sandalwood, Musk, Patchouli, and Vetiver
Oman is known for its exceptionally high-quality frankincense. When burned, the smoke is clean and warm with lemony facets. Zafar pays tribute to this storied country and its precious export. Bright citrusy top notes with a spicy floral heart accented by olibanum are the theme of this powerful release from the east. The base reveals a sweet combination of vanilla and tonka bean with the allure of priceless natural oud.
Voyage and Flowerlush are clear glass bottles that showcase the ambery tones of the perfume inside. Zafar is in a dark brown bottle. The fragrances all feature the name of the perfume on the front with the brand’s name stamped on the bottom on the face.
The three fragrances are all Eau de Parfums that come in a 100ml size and are available on the official website in December.
