House Rochas is back in action with yet another fragrance release under the Rochas Girl line. This year, the brand is introducing Girl Life for women. Back in 2021, Girl was released to a huge acclaim and praise from the fandom thanks to its distinctive floral and woody nature. With Anne Flipo behind the helm, Girl was on its way to become a major hit in the market, and it surely was.
Girl offers a vegans blend with 90% natural ingredients as well as echo-friendly bottle design. It was composed with a ‘feel good’ sensibility in mind, which is to keep it minimal and cheerful. With the impact Girl had on the market, Rochas decided to follow that up with an exciting flanker. The following year, the house released a new limited edition, Girl Blooming, which also came in Eau de Toilette form.
Girl Blooming retains its floral influence, but this time, Paul Guerlain was leading the project. Some changes were made to the note composition to make it fruitier with a mix of citrus. The perfume still pays respect to nature with its natural and vegan blend. Again, this release was able to spark joy amongst the fans.
Now, as for the newest release by the house, Girl Life promises to be a more enhanced and stronger interpretation of the original’s DNA in an Eau de Parfum concentration. This release continues the positive and lively aspects of its predecessors thanks to a stronger floral and fruity mixture. The top notes include invigorating blackcurrant mixed with pink pepper and mandarin orange.
Getting to the heart notes, the bright and joyful bouquet of jasmine absolute, tuberose absolute and rose will almost overwhelm you with its aroma. As for the base notes, the vanilla pods takes on a woody form thanks to the creamy white musk and the cedar wood, making the formula much more intense than before and leaving a refreshing trail all day long.
Girl Life arrives in the same bottle design as its sisters from the line with a slight alteration in the color scheme to reflect the new blend.
Rochas Girl Life is available in 40 ml, and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.
