Luxury fashion house Hermes has teased the release of a flanker to the outstanding gentleman’s fragrance, Terre D’Hermes. This new flanker is marketed as an icy, refreshing version of an otherwise refined and classic fragrance.
Terre D’Hermes Eau Givrée is packaged the same way the rest of the Terre D’Hermes line is. Boxy bottle shape, simple and omitted of any outrageous flair. This time around, the cap is a slightly lighter chrome and features the fragrance title in the middle.
What I’ve always appreciated about these bottles were the slight indents at the top and bottom which mimic the Hermes “H” logo.
Terre D’Hermes Eau Givrée makes use of the invigorating properties of Citron and pairs it with Juniper Berry: A classic note in any aromatic fragrance. A Timut Pepper note is used to juxtapose the overarching freshness in the opening. As well, the classic woody and mineral facets of the original are included, although we do not know in which way just yet.
2006 marks the introduction of the Terre D’Hermes line, swarming men who like a refined fragrance with a kick. Off the bat, those who were drawn towards the fragrance loved the Orange note as not only was it easy to wear, it featured a dirtiness that we had not experienced previously.
At the top, you’re met with the sensational citrus pairing of Grapefruit and Orange. From there, Black Pepper helps to bring in some character alongside Pelargonium. Finally, the scent concludes with Vetiver, Cedar, Patchouli and Benzoin for a final burst of manliness.
Hermes Terre D’Hermes Eau Givrée is available in a 50ml and 100ml bottle, both of which have atomizers. We currently have the price for the 50ml which is going to be around $85 USD.
