Have you ever wandered in dark allies at night? Went to a crowded Neon party with such loud music that would make you let go? Have you seen the fast and furious, and wondered what the people in the race allies smelt like?
Laboratorio Olfattivo
Daniela Caon and Roberto Drago created Laboratorio Olfattivo in 2009 which is regarded as a relatively new date in the Niche industry. Having said that, and due to their brilliant unorthodox taste, they have climbed their way through success, and carved their name among the most original Niche creating company.

They made their debut with 5 fragrances and now have circa 30 fragrances in production. Today we are going to talk about their latest release to date, Underground Vibes.
Underground Vibes Review
Underground Vibes was released in 2025 by Antoine Lie. It is classified as a woody oriental.
Antoine Lie said “The inspiration for this perfume was to represent the smell of raves, underground parties in many cities. The electric and hallucinatory atmosphere of secret hangouts, post-industrial places and underground car parks. I wanted to represent, in the form of perfume, the evocative smells of substances linked to the artificial paradises that circulate in these places. A distilled essence of elements tied to a psychotropic experience.”

Having the fragrance and after many full wears, I must say he manifested his inspiration literally. I smelled the fragrance before I read his description and was exactly what I felt in so many words.
The fragrance opens up with a strong and dominant Cannabis note, which is a sporadic note in the world of perfumery. The cannabis is accompanied by a whiskey accord and some Juniper berries. Now, before we get to the heart, I must say that the Cannabis is the main note in the fragrance, and will linger till the end of the perfume’s life. The heart revolves around a strong gasoline note, with the addition of some even stranger notes like Cypriol, Immortelle Absolute, and Cement Accord! The fragrance dries down on a woody base of Orris Butter, Vietnam Oud Essence, New Caledonian Sandalwood E.O., Indonesian Patchouli E.O.
I consider the fragrance to be one of a kind in terms of uniqueness and being a rather interesting perfume. It is one of those fragrances that bespeaks Mystery and Danger!
I do own some Cannabis based fragrances like Kinski (a True masterpiece), Carolina Herera’s Bad Boy Le Parfum, and the infamous Black Afghano from Nassomato, and if I am making a spectrum of the dominance of the Cannabis note, I would put Kinski on one side, and Bad Boy on the other side. Underground Vibes falls pretty close to Kinski with the only extinction of it being a bit safer to wear around the police without getting stopped!
Performance
I have only tried Underground Vibes this summer, so not a really good environment for such a test, however, for now I can attest it has great longevity. I will try to update the sillage and projection when I give it a full wear in winter.

Wearability and versatility
After all that we said, Underground Vibes is definitely a winter perfume, and not even a daytime one, It is a dark and gloomy winter night fragrance, probably something you would wear on a black leather jacket. I also think it is perfectly unisex for a bad girl or a bad boy vibe!
Bottle and price
Underground Vibes comes in the same Laboratorio Olfattivo bottle, this time with in black with the name ‘Underground Vibes’ in Cannabis green. It retails for 180 euros for a 100 ml bottle.

Frequently Asked Questions
[sc_fs_multi_faq headline-0=”h3″ question-0=”Will Underground Vibes make me smell like I am high?” answer-0=”While it does rely so much on the Cannabis note, I believe the utilization of other notes gives Underground Vibes much versatility and flexibility enabling you to wear it safely, unlike Kinski which I love but would not risk wearing it on a Saturday night!” image-0=”” headline-1=”h3″ question-1=”How linear is Underground Vibes?” answer-1=”I would say Underground Vibes is not linear at all.
