Xerjoff has released a fragrance for Black Sabbath guitarist, Tony Iommi, under the Xerjoff Blends concept.
Xerjoff Blends is an “experimental and experiential concept that creates multisensory experiences, blending fragrance with other sensory elements.” The collection features one fragrance, bottled in two different ways. Sergio Momo and Iommi wanted to launch a fragrance to accompany the new single, “Scent of dark”.
“The first multisensory interactions primarily between perfume and music come together in an unexpected and uniquely modern way, merging the dark and Gothic notes of scent, sound and design in a unified perception,” says Xerjoff.
The more common bottle of the two retails for $220 USD and is available in a 50 ml size. The fragrance is titled Monkey Special, mixing Xerjoff’s attention to detail with Iommi’s gothic taste. Taking the shape of prior Xerjoff releases, the bottle features a black cap with gold accents and a frosted body.
On the top, you may find Bergamot, Rum, Bulgarian Geranium and Passion Fruit. Below in the heart are notes of Cinnamon, Patchouli from Singapore and Leather. Sandalwood, Vanilla, Caramel, Labdanum and Musk conclude the base.
The second bottle will also be filled with the Xerjoff Blends creation, Monkey Special. Although, the bottle has received the royal treatment. This limited edition, collector’s bottle was seemingly been dipped in a reflective black coat. Covering the front panels are signatures, presumably from Iommi.
The piece de resistance comes in the form of 200 flacon Swarovski crystals. The bottle retails for $505 USD and is available in a 50 ml bottle.
